The mission of Writers’ Forum, Imphal is to promote, preserve, and strengthen Manipuri literature and culture through publication, translation, research, literary exchange, education, and creative engagement.

Core Objectives
01. Literary Publication
Promote the publication of creative and critical literary works including poetry, fiction, drama, essays, translation, and cultural studies.

Preserve and promote the literary, cultural, artistic, and historical heritage of Manipur through documentation and creative initiatives.
03. Translation Activities
Encourage translation between Manipuri and other Indian as well as international languages to strengthen literary exchange.
