Imphal, May 24, 2026 — Writers’ Forum Imphal released the 132nd edition of its quarterly literary journal, Sahityagi Pao, at a function held at the Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
The event brought together members of the literary community to celebrate the continued publication of the forum’s flagship journal, which has played a significant role in promoting literary discourse and creative writing in Manipur.
On the occasion, a book titled Khoira, authored by Nabakumar Nameirakpam, was also formally released.
The release ceremony was attended by Irungbam Basant, President of Writers’ Forum Imphal, and Dilip Mayengbam, Vice President of the forum, who served as presidium members of the programme.
Author Nabakumar Nameirakpam was also present and participated in the event.
The programme reaffirmed Writers’ Forum Imphal’s commitment to encouraging literary creativity, supporting authors, and enriching the literary heritage of Manipur through regular publications and literary activities.
